Asos time!!!!!
I'm so sorry I know I said I would write my 2nd wish list the other day but I went home for the weekend!
So my second spring/summer wish list is on items from Asos. I love Asos! Eventhough some of the stuff on there can be really expensive, there is a nice variety on there, designer clothes and Asos own. So lets look what I chose as my four items.
The first item I chose is this cute swimming costume. Now normally on holiday I don't wear an all in one because obviously you want to tan. BUT, for the first day or so whilst your skin is getting used to the sun and the heat I do choose to wear one. Swim suits are also great for when you are going shopping or walking to the beach etc. I love the colour of this suit and think it would look great against a tan. I also love the shell detail on the chest and it just reminds me of a mermaid. And after all who doesn't like mermaids?! At only £20 I think this is totally worth it and would look great in the pool or with some light denim shorts and white pumps!! This is also available on Boohoo as it is a Boohoo piece. Next I have chosen this vintage, simple denim skirt. Now I have recently bought myself one very similar to this and its the comfiest thing! For summer I love anything denim, it looks so nice up against a tan and goes with everything. Plus it enables us to get our tanned legs out! This skirt is so simple, it has a cute little slit in the side and personally is an ideal length for any occasion, to wear everyday, on holiday, to the beach or even when going out out it can be dressed up with heels and a crop top etc. This skirt is currently £28 but I think that is defo worth it!! For my third item on my Asos spring/summer wishlist I have chosen something that I literally wear everyday in this season...SUNGLASSES!!
I literally wear sunglasses all year round because im that annoying person. These ones I have chosen from Asos are the nicest things they are so cute and are my fave colour! I really like round glasses and at first I didn't think they suited me but when I have my hair up or curly (sounds mental) but I prefer to have round glasses rather than square. These glasses have a mirrored lens which look really summery and the colour is simple and cute, at only £10 these have got my seal of approval. For my final item on my wishlist what I have chosen is very naughty but just beautiful. I have chosen this exclusive, summer shirt dress and I am totally in love with it!! YES I KNOW ITS £60 and even I am yet to decide if I could justify paying that for this dress. But oh wow this is just screaming summer days at me. With its cute pink colour and lovely strawberry pattern this dress is so easy but looks amazing. With a tan, without one, whatever it will look good. Also what I love about shirt dresses is that they look good on anyone. At first I had my doubts about looking too straight and square but they are supposed to look like that and I love how casual they are. This is my favourite item and im sure it will be in my basket in no time! 5 stars from me on this one. Spring//Summer wishlist 1
Hey beauties hope you're all well and enjoying the lovely weather (obviously joking)!!!
Due to all the shops slowly releasing their summer collections I have decided to pick 4 high street/ online shops and pick four items that I think would be perfect for the upcoming spring and summer months from each store!
My first culprit is Missguided. Now recently I haven't bought anything from here because of the sizes always seem to come up strange on me but browsing through their summer collection has made me very excited and I have found lots of things (a lot more than just these four!!!) that I will defo be purchasing asap. (I will put in the link to each item after my review of it).
So first I decided to look at shorts...
I am recently really loving a bare legged, classy short look and have chosen this simple pastel pink pair of shorts. They are not denim so don't instantly scream classic summer but I think there is a lot of potential. The colour is so beautiful and soft but it is very summery without being too in your face. As can be seen, they match perfectly with white and I think a simple white T-shirt/slogan top and pumps would make this outfit perfect for everyday wear.
A lot of people get worried about wearing "dressy" stuff everyday but if they are matched with the right accessories etc they look fab and give you that classy, mature look. As it is demonstrated in the picture, these are also perfect for a night out. These are currently £22 (https://www.missguided.co.uk/clothing/category/shorts/front-pocket-tailored-shorts-pink)
Next I looked at jumpsuits as they are such a saviour. Not only do they look great but you don't have to plan too much. I selected this beautiful striped cropped legged jumpsuit. The colours are plain and simple but I think it would work really well with pastel coloured accessories. Maybe some pink shoes or something. It is a roll neck but not massively and I think for spring/early summer this would work well as it wouldn't be too hot. I am yet to try this style of trouser/jumpsuit but I really want to give it a go and I think they look really flattering. This jumpsuit is currently £28. For my third item I went for a simple T-shirt. I love this mesh insert top, its white and clean looking and is very simple however the mesh adds that extra something. This top would go with shorts, skirts or even trousers in the summer evenings. I think it would look equally as good tucked in or out. Personally, I like tops that hang like this. Its not cropped which you often find a lot of summer tops to be. Its casual but can easily be dressed up for a night out or a meal etc. At only £12 this is a definite must have for my wardrobe as sometimes you cant have too many simpler tops. Finally I went for shoes! I am very fussy when it comes to the whole flip flop and sandal situation. I think that the classic ones that go between your toe should be left for the beach or around the pool. I found these lovely slip on sandals and they are currently IN THE SALE on the Missguided website. They come in green or black but I chose black as they are easier to match with a wider variety of outfits. They look really comfy with no awkward toe separator. The straps add that little bit of detail and they will go with pretty much everything. Currently £6, what more could you want!!! I hope you liked my first wishlist and it has inspired you to go and start planning your summer wardrobes! Tomorrow I will be writing about four items from another one of our fave highstreet shops so make sure you read!!
Thanks beauties xx
